9Rooftops VPN
A VPN provides privacy, security, and the ability to access restricted content by creating a private network from a public internet connection. You will need to connect to the 9Rooftops VPN if you need access to file shares, printers or any other internal service or device from a location other than a 9Rooftops office or while on a 9Rooftops network.
We use a product called AnyConnect by Cisco (soon to be rebranded Cisco Secure Client) for VPN connectivity to the 9Rooftops network.
AnyConnect should be pre-installed and configured to connect to 9Rooftops on your Mac or Windows computer- please contact the helpdesk if it is not installed.
The 9Rooftops VPN connection is not required when you are in a 9Rooftops office.
Email, Teams and web browsers do not require a VPN connection.
