How to Connect to BFGFS

If you're not at a 9Rooftops office, make sure you're connected to 9R-VPN in Cisco AnyConnect.

If you're getting a VPN error, take a look at this support article:

Once you're connected to VPN or if you're physically at the office follow these steps below:

macOS:

1. Open this URL in the browser or via Finder shift+cmd+k or Go>Connect to Server
smb://bfgfs.marcusa.local/bfgfs

2. Enter your username as marcusa.local\jdoe (replace jdoe with the prefix of your email)

3. Password is your Microsoft account password (the same one used for Outlook/Teams)

Windows:

1. Open file explorer in the path bar type \\bfgfs.marcusa.local\bfgfs and press enter

2. Enter your Microsoft password (usually the same as your computer's login password)

3. If you're having issues, try using MARCUSA\jdoe as the username instead of jdoe. (Replace jdoe with your email's prefix)
