If you are in an office location; Birmingham, Chicago, Hilton Head, Pittsburgh, New York = NO. Connection is automatic when connected in an office.
If you are in a Field Location or working remote = YES, you must be logged into the 9R VPN to access File Central.
VPN Access Instructions
VPN = Virtual Private Network
Connecting to the VPN is required for accessing file central when not in an office.
PC Users: The VPN app is normally in the icon tray in the bottom right of your screen. Open the icon tray and click on the VPN icon
MAC Users: Go to the Launchpad > type Cisco in the search bar > select Cisco … Client

PC and MAC Users:
Click the Connect button

No, 9R File Central is only accessible by employees using a 9Rooftops login.
All final files must be saved to 9R File Central.
A SharePoint/Teams site is the 9R and sister agency collaboration space for in-progress files and general communication.
1.File collaboration among internal and external: (external such as MMG domain, 500Degress domain etc) team members
2.SharePoint sites, channels and Teams are removed once files are moved and project and/or client is archived
** There is NOT unlimited space in these sites. As projects and clients close these files need to be moved and the SP/Teams locations removed to make room for new projects and clients.

The project platform used to communicate specific client deliverables, outline SOWs and initiate billing with Finance.
1.Client PO pertaining to the applicable project – saved in the project files section
2.SOW pertaining to the applicable project – saved in the project files section
The platform used to share files with clients, vendors, or other external sources as needed. Files can be saved here, this is not the final file destination location.
1.External file delivery - sharing with the client
•Provides password protection and expiration links that are imperative to use when sharing externally

- Things to know about OneDrive:
- Represented by an icon that looks like a little blue cloud in your system tray on a PC or in the Dock on a MAC.
- If you click on it, it should say "your files are synced" – if it doesn't, resolve the error and/or open a help desk ticket
- If you can't find the icon, open a help desk ticket.
- Continuously backs up files inside your OneDrive folder
- Also backs up your Desktop and Documents. Verify this by looking for Desktop and Documents folders inside your onedrive – they should exactly match the contents of your normal desktop and documents. If they don't, open a help desk ticket.
DOES NOT backup your Downloads folder, or other folders that do not sit inside your Desktop, Documents or OneDrive folders.
